Proliferation: TOASTER

:: All throughout Manchester a new symbol of sorts begins to appear. It's everywhere. There's even a little scare on the Fox Evening News. "What is TOASTER? Is it a new and dangerous street drug?" Eventually, the hype dies down, it's just some internet meme or something, the Union Leader declares. But that doesn't stop the symbol from showing up. Always printed in black ink on a full sheet of office size paper. Stapled on telephone poles, under car wipers, pasted on walls, on bulletin boards, and construction fencing, hidden behind storefront windows among the declarations of SALE SALE SALE! The image is torn down, but seems to just keep reappearing.

:: Almost as quickly as it had started, the TOASTER fliers stopped being put up, and soon there were almost none left on the streets of Manchester.
