Knight time

::In one of the larger bars in down town Manchester the Imposing figure that is Frank Mason could be found at the bar with a few empty glasses around him. He rubs his forehead as if he's in pain but keeps at the drinks. His sword hangs on his belt, much to the confusion and worry to some of the people around him.::

They stepped out of Luke's car and walked into a bar. "I'll get you a drink, if you want one." She offered, and walked into the bar with Luke behind her.

::Luke doesn't get out of his car, he's made it clear to Ashton that he wasn't gonna get involved in whatever she wanted to do. He knew she was upset but he couldn't get into it.::

"I'm good, but if you want a ride back you let me know. Here's my number."

::He said and had given her the number for his cell phone.::

"Thanks." She said as she saved his contact in her phone. She walked into the bar and instantly spotted him, remembering him by the sword at his waist. A few people with curious expersions glanced her way but she ignored them. She walked up to the Kindred. "I knew our world was small but this small?" She asked to get his attention.

::Frank looked up at the woman and did his best not to stare too much. He rubbed his head some and shrugged.::

"The world's a big place. What's small is this little city. This is one of the few places to get a good drink."

::Frank said and tipped his head at the bar tender. The tough looking man returned the nod and went back to his work. Frank motioned to an empty bar stool next to him and offered it to her.::

"You coming in for a drink... or er... a drink?"

::Frank asked, first motioning to a glass then to the dance floor.::

"Neither, actually. I wanted to talk to you." She paused a moment and lowered her voice so that only he would hear, wondering if she was pushing her luck with him. "About who you really are." She gave a nod at his sword.

::Frank shifted his eyes some to the people near them but knew that the loud music would give them plenty of cover.::

"What have you come to learn?"

::Frank asked, his voice getting a little more tense.::

"That you're a killer of the vampire kind. At least against a certain group, so it seems. And you possibly killed a friend of mine. Who, by the way, happened to be appart of that group."

She glared at him as she waited for her answer, sure to keep her voice down so that any human who happened to walk by couldn't hear them.

::Frank tensed up some more when she spoke. He looked at his drink and and downed it quickly. He gave her a side ways glance and sneered some.::

"You're gonna need to give me some more details. I kill a lot of kindred."

::He said in a low and cold voice.::

"The sword's not for looks to say the least."

"His name was CJ. He was a gun-runner...or something like that."

She raised an eyebrow slightly.

::Frank thought about it and simply shrugged.::

"I don't know, never met the guy. He could have been one of the goons that didn't make it off that island out in Portland. You seem pretty interested in this guy. What's he to you?"

::Frank asked and motioned to the bar tender to get her a drink of her choice.::

The question took her by surprise, which made her frown. She sighed and finally sat herself on the stool next to Frank. "I told you...he was a...er...friend of mine." She looked away from him as a large strawberry daquery came in front of her.

::Frank hunched over some and shook his head.::

"We're kindred, we don't have friends. Try again."

::Frank said with the snap of his fingers looking away from Ashton.::

Ashton stared at him a few moments, unsure of how to respond to that.

"Maybe you don't."

She said finally, and slapped the money on the table for her drink. She let out a frustrated breath and turned around on her stool, facing the dance floor now. She glared at the drink in her hands and downed some of it, leaning against the bar counter.

"Well...I was going to give you a broken nose if it was you, but...as it seems it wasn't you, I guess you're off the hook. For now at least."

She glanced over at him and then back at the dancers.

::Frank just rolls his eyes and spun on his seat and gave Ashton an un amused look.::

"Listen, I don't know if I killed him or not. But I'll tell you what..."

::Frank said and slurred his words just a bit.::

"If I'll make you feel better, I'll let you hit me once for free."

::Frank said and tilted his chin forward a little and pointed at it with a single finger.::

"Come on."

Ashton sighed and rolled her eyes and downed a bit more of the daquery before setting it on the bar counter. She studied Frank for a few moments, deciding. She didn't usually look for trouble and was the peaceful type, though he was offering and she did owe him one for chasing off a meal. Being a Kindred, they were a lot stronger then the average human. Only once before had she had the disire to hit someone, and that was her sire before she left her homestate. She curled her right hand into a ball and swung it forward with Kindred speed and using some of her Kindred strength, knocking him in the chin. No one else noticed her move that was human.

::The fist connected with Frank's face with a sickening crunch. His head snapped back some and Frank winced some. He blinked off the blow a few times and shook his head.::

"Ya got guts kid."

::Frank said with a smirk and motioned to bar tender to get him two shots. The bar tender pauses and motions to Frank's bleeding lip. Frank insists that he had just bit his lip and passed Ashton a shot. He held up his drink and motioned for Ashton to take her's.::

"To C-J."

::He said in a serious voice.::

"To CJ."

She agreed quietly. They clanked glasses together and downed their shots at the same time. Ashton motioned to his bleeding lip.

"Sorry about that."

She apologized.

"I'm usually the non-violent type. It's been...a bad night."

::Frank downed his glass and let out a loud laugh.::

"Who are you kidding darling? You know I deserved that."

::He said simply and tossed down some money for their tab. If Ashton looked at his wallet, Frank had an absurd amount of money on him.::

"I deserve far worse but we'll get there some night."

::He said and got up from his stool and slung his jacket over his shoulder.::

"I tell you what, you want to have it out with me, we'll go out into a nearby alley and you can have at it."

::He said and motioned to the door and headed towards it.::

She shook her head but grabbed her purse and got up and followed him, catching up with him at the door.

"In case you have forgotten, my style isn't beating people up."

She reminded him, following him outside.

::Frank lead her, true to his word, out to an alley way. Once away from any people Frank draped his jacket over a near by dumpster and rolled up his sleeves. He shifted his sword away some and held his arms out to his side.::

"Come on, you've got more rage in you. Let it out, hit me again."

::Frank said, the drunken air about him had faded some and he was seemingly sober with his comments.::

She hesitated, but they were out of the public eye. The only thing that was watching them was a flickering street lamp across the block. Again she sighed and took off her heels, setting them down were she would remember them. She looked over at Frank, who was still waiting, and lunged across the small space between them, takeling him to the ground. She was sitting on him, hands on his chest. She glared at him for a few moments before getting up and walking over to her shoes and putting them back on.

"I've had enough."

She growled, slipping her purse back over her shoulder.

::When Frank was knocked flat by the woman he let out groan but when she got up and walk away Frank got up and walked with her a short distance.::

"You may be done but I'm not."

::He said and gave her a shove as she bent over to put her shoes on. Ashton was knocked to the ground and Frank stood over her with his hands balled into fists.::

"Come on, you've got more fight in you than that."

::He said and gave her a sneer.::

She growled and rolled over onto her back. She lifted both of her bare feet and gave him a good kick in the gut and pushed herself up, dusting herself off and smoothing out her dress.

::Frank took the kick and let out a growl of his own. Nearly lifted off his feet by the kick he charged at Ashton. A light rain had started to fall now as Frank landed a punch into the ribs of Ashton. This punch was hard, harder than what looked possible for the man to land. The ribs were pushed to their breaking point but held together barely. The two became entangled to a brawl.::
